Tarran Mackenzie will make the jump to the Motorpoint British Supersport series in 2016 after signing to remain with Team WD-40, the squad with which he placed third in Superstock 600 this year.

The 20-year-old has had two very successful seasons with the team in Superstock 600, impressing everyone this season with eight podiums, including four victories. Mackenzie was always in the hunt for the 2015 championship, his race wins at Knockhill and the last round at Brands Hatch were his most impressive.

 "I am really happy to be moving up to the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship, staying with GR Motosport for a third year. My Team WD-40 / Stauff Connect Academy have been fantastic for the last two years and we strong ambitions for 2016. I love the ZX-6R and the setup my team has given me so I can’t wait to get started,” he said.
