World Enduro champ Knight joins McGuinness at Jackson Racing

Three-time World Enduro Champion David Knight has joined the Jackson Racing squad alongside John McGuinness and Conor Cummins, and could race for the team at one of the World Endurance Championship rounds in 2016.

Knighter, who is a Manxman like Cummins, is currently testing at Monteblanco and will there is consideration towards supporting the team across the FIM rounds of the 2016 WEC season at Le Mans, Portimao and Oschersleben.

“I am certainly looking forward to meeting up with the team in Spain this week and getting some laps on the bike. Obviously working alongside Alan and the boys from Jackson Racing is a great opportunity. It is a very strong line-up with John, Conor and Steve, so maybe I can assist them across the season in EWC,” said Knight.

“We still don’t know how things will turn out with the schedule change for the Portimao round, but I would like to think that I could be available to stand in for one of the riders if there is a clash with other events such as the Isle of Man TT.”
